Season 1989

In 1989 the Draco tries the European's adventure, with the Formula Opel Lotus Euroseries, achieving great success. With the Brazilian driver Eduar Merj Neto, (his first year in Europe) the Team gets 12 poles positions and 5 wins, finishing second of the championship.

Season 1990

A new young driver arrives from Brazil : 16-years-old. He has won in Kart and with the F. Chevrolet. Morini is enthusiastic of it and he sees well: his name is Rubens Barrichello. Rubens, Rubinio for the Draco, is immediately welcomed as a child. Nadia and Adriano hold him with them in the Florentine house and they win with him their first European championship in the Opel Euroseries (against adversaries as De Ferran, David Coulthard and Vincenzo Sospiri).

11 poles and 10 victories is a beautiful result and, above all, a confirmation of the qualities as talent scout of Adriano and Nadia. Now Rubens is to the Ferrari, a great dream that has come true.

Season 1991

An other year full of satisfactions. The Draco wins its second championship with the Portuguese driver Pedro Lamy (Minardi Formula 1), a talented guy who, unfortunately, hasn't succeeded in finding the correct direction in the superior categories, but - Adriano Morini says- he had a style of guide and an impeccable class. Great satisfaction for the Draco and Adriano, with this second Championship in showcase. The name Morini becomes synonymous of an infallible discoverer of talents.

Season 1992

Second absolute in the European Lotus Championship with the Brazilian driver Gualter Salles (Brazil and Draco are and will be always tied up in this long history). The Brasilian is fast, but a unhappy beginning of the season brings him to arrive only second at the end of the championship. It happened to award Salles winning of the race of end-championship on the Donington circuit , to be the other ex-Draco driver Barrichello. It's a sign that, those people who are or have been part of “Draco family ” are always close to Adriano and Nadia, and both find in this affection the most important thing of their life.

Season 1993

Now we can also hear the Mameli's anthem on the podium of the European tracks, thanks to the Roman driver Crinelli, who wins the third championship for Draco. A suffered win, but gotten with courage and determination of a Team which gladly desired to see the Italian tricolor wave tall.

Season 1994

Marco Campos: this name is for Draco that of a star. In the 1994 Marco was 17-years-old. When Morini sees him tests in Magione he immediately understands the talent that Brazil has him bringed, “the best of all” and he tells it with the sincerity of a technician who has a gold nugget in one's hands , to polish up and to shine. Draco works very hard and Marco compensates its with the best piece: the victories. Marco lives and travels with them. He wins the Lotus Series championship and other 7 trophies. For the conquered poles positions he is chosen as the best driver of the year and younger driver revelation. The circuit is enthusiastic of him, he has a smile for everybody and he also charms the organization. His “rival”, Tom Coronel (NL) judges him a talent, they are opponents, but they eat together. His team-mate Filippo Francioni has for him a veneration. He has the charisma of the great champion.

Season 1995

In 1995 the Draco constitutes a F3000 Team only for Marco. The first competition in Silverstone (GB) with the Lola car, sees him 5° classified. Frank Williams sends an appointee to follow him, he is interested in Marco. They continue interviews during the season, but in the last race, to the last curve, the 18th October 1995 they lose him. Everything is immediately ended for Nadia and Adriano, the loss of Marco is a terrible blow. The Draco boys are close to them, giving them the strength to continue. Marco will be always in their heart, and is on the heart that forever the team will bring its helmet, to never forget him, not even an instant, and to hold Marco with them, in the world that has tightened in an endless embrace.

Season 1996

Others successes in the F3000 with another Brazilian guy. Incredibly, it is Barrichello who is again with Nadia and Adriano to celebrate the victory of Riccardo Zonta (Bar F1) who crushes in Estoril, Mugello and Pau. He doesn't arrive third of the championship for only a point because, in the last race of Hochenheim, where he conduct, the cable of the accelerator breaks.

Season 1997

A French driver of Draco is on the podium, Cyrille Sauvage. One year of intense job, with a 2° and 5° place of Sauvage and a beautiful podium(2°) for the Portuguese Pedro Conceiro. Sinned that Cyrille doesn't have the possibility to continue, pains problems to the budget, stop him.

Season 1998

Another Brazilian in the Draco's school, that will aggrandize the team of the boys of the family: Brown Junqueira (test driver Williams F1) another talented driver. One year when Bruno has to learn circuits and car, difficult year, but of great formation. In 1999 the young Junqueira changes team, because the Petrobras, his sponsor, creates an own team. The Draco remains, however, in his heart and in turn in that of Nadia and Adriano. In the European championship F3000 year 2000, Bruno is leader with three victories on five disputed races. A dream thinking that are five, with Junqueira, the drivers currently discovered by Morini in Formula 1; perhaps nobody has done so much.

Season 1999

Fabrice Walfish, another French driver, leads the Draco to the success, and it allows him to stay in the 15 top-teams that passes by law to the European F3000 season for the year 2000. An important year for Draco which confirms to the top.

Season 2000

Despite being by law in the 15 top-teams of the international championship, Draco Racing chooses the Italian F3000 to have the opportunity to line up two Brazilians: Neikotten and Sperafico. During the season are marked three second places, a third and two poles positions, thanks to Rodrigo Sperafico who now races in international F3000. Draco finishes the championship in this position. In the extra championship competition of Assen Draco competes with S.Bert and Jacky van der Ende, who closed in third position, a good result considering that he had never raced in this formula.

Season 2001

A triumph, for a season that to say thrilling, is to diminish her.

In the winter Morini engages a young Brazilian talent, Felipe Massa, coming from the Formula Renault where he has won Italian and European Championship. Since the winter tests he clearly shows the strongest. The Championship becomes a walk: on eight races 7 poles position and 6 victories, showing an overwhelming superiority, so much that, at the end of the season, the Sauber engages him to dispute the F.1 Championship. With a so bulky team-mate, the other driver, Luca Vacis, is unnoticed despite having disputed a good championship.

Season 2002

August Farfus is the other driver of Draco. After having won the Formula Renault Eurocup he faces his first year in Formula 3000 with the precise objective to accumulate experience. He behaves very well in qualifying: in race he records one podium in Spa Francorshamps and other good positions. Matteo Grassotto, Italian driver of good qualities, coming from the Formula 3, works more than the expectation to suit to the departures of 3000. He conquers a podium in Digione and good positions during the season.

Season 2003

The Draco confirms Augusto Farfus with an only possible objective: WIN! New driver of the Tuscan team is the German Sven Heidfeld. The tone of the whole season is realized by the party on the occasion of the presentation of the team and the 2003 plans, with the Team in estate of gala to the Eurocongressi Hotel in Verona.

Immediately the season seems to be promising for Augusto who, during the various tests, he always excels with great advantage. The championship concludes him with a Farfus in disproportionate advantage with 60 points on 32 of the second arrival. A dominion. The Draco wins therefore his 6° European title.

Season 2004

A very young driver who for a long time is under observation of the Team replaces Augusto Farfus, he is the dutch Nicky Pastorelli. At his side the Italian driver Fausto Ippoliti.

The 2004 Superfund F3000 Championship is won by Nicky Pastorelli. Excellent performance of Italian driver who proves his talent: the only difficulties is the lack of experience.

Season 2005

Tiring season for the team committed in two Championships: World Series F3.5 by Renault, where Draco is a new entry, and F.3000. In the World Series the Draco Drivers are the German “MW” and the Italian "CM".

A beautiful Championship for the Draco Team who immediately it is comfortable with the new car and many podiums and victories mark a fantastic season.

According placement Constructors for Draco and 3 ° in the final ranking for German MW.

A good job even in F3000 Championship with two young drivers: the German Timo Lieneman and the Italian Alessandro Bonetti capture many podiums.

At the end of the Championship Draco wins the title. Timo Lieneman is third in classification followed by Alessandro Bonetti. In the Under-2, 1° place for the German following from Bonetti.

Season 2006

The season 2006 opens with the presentation of Draco drivers Pastor Maldonado and Tomas Kostka. A great season for the Venezuelan Maldonado rising on the top of the podium in Monaco, Le Mans, Misano and Spa, gaining the 3rd place in the final classification with 102 points. Kostka instead leaves his seat in the middle of the season to the Serbian Milos Pavlovic who will be confirmed as Draco driver in the following season.

Season 2007

Team Draco lines up two new gladiator: the Spanish Alvaro Barba and the Serbian Milos Pavlovic.

The World Series 3.5 Championship is divided into 17 races and 9 circuits.

The Draco Team went on the podium 6 times. In Monza, Hungary, Belgium and Portugal with Pavlovic, who has 96 points in the end of the season and he is 2 ° in the final classification. In Donington and in Estoril with Barba who has 8 ° in the championship with 64 points.

Draco Team, thanks to an excellent car and the feeling between Team and drivers, wins the second place in the championship with 160 points.

Season 2008

At theDraco Team the youngest of the family Barba, Marco, takes the place of his brother. Despite he was a rookie in the championship World Series by Renault, he showed good results for the entire season. The Belgian Bertrand Baguette has a season behind and he wins various good positions and considerable achievement, in addition to a first place in Race 1 in Spa

The budget of the season is not very good for the team that, for several unfortunate events, it is unable to reach the podium of teams. For the next season Draco wants a large recovery of the team that has always remained, after decades of activity, in the top of the category.

Season 2009: CHAMPIONS!

A triumph on all fronts: victory in the Team Championship and victory in the Drivers Championship with Bertrand Baguette for a total of 205 points.

An absolute dominion since the middle of the season, with Bertrand Baguette always on the podium: 5 first places, 4 second places, 1 third place and the constant presence in the top ten in every race. In two years in Draco, Baguette has grown beyond all expectations and he has become a true champion.

Season 2010

The Draco Drivers in the 2010 season were the French Nathanael Berthon and the Colombian Julian Leal. Berthon, rookie in the WSR 3.5 championship, has gained excellent results in several races: 3rd in Alcaniz, 2nd in Brno, 1st at Magny Cours. Good development for Leal who has played a growing season that suggest a good path for the future.

Season 2011

The Draco Team presents two young drivers: André Negrao, Brazilian 19 years, and Stéphane Richelmi, from the Principality of Monaco, 21 years. Both drivers are rookies in the league and during the season they have the opportunity to know the World Series by Renault 3.5 car. Richelmi climbs on the rookie podium in Monza, Negrao wins the rookie podium 5 times, in Motorland, Spa, Nurburgring and Paul Ricard.
